The Texas Depakomahcheet.JPGrtment of Public Safety is offering a $7,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of Gwen Komahcheet, one of the Texas 10 most wanted fugitives.

He is wanted in Texas on a parole violation and in Oklahoma for failing to register as a sex offender. He is also wanted on a federal warrant issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

He is believed to be in the Lawton, Okla area, where he has family and has been spotted on an Indian reservation. Komahcheet belongs to the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma.

He is known to armed and may frequent casinos that area. He also has previously worked in leather shops, Texas authorities said.

Komahcheet was released from prison in 2004 serving 24 years of a 75-year sentence for aggravated rape with a firearm. He has been wanted since shortly after his release.

The photograph released by authorities was taken in 2004 and police believe that he's now thinner than in the photo and may look ill. He bears scars on his upper left arm, back, left eye, left ear and right cheek.
